‘Maximum Effort for Maximum Achievement’
Friday 3rd July 2020
It was wonderful to open our doors to our Year 4 children this week. I simply cannot tell you how amazing it was to see them all again after such a long period of time away; the children were equally excited to see each
other and their teachers. They also had the chance to meet their new teachers which provided lots of reassurance regarding September too. I would really encourage you to take up the offer of a part-time return to
school as the positive impact it has had on the well-being of our Year 6 and Year 4 children is literally impossible to measure.
In the meantime, it’s only a few more weeks until the Summer holidays and all the indications are that we will all be back to school, full time, in
September which will be ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
Staffing News I am pleased to tell you that Miss Moore
gave birth to her daughter, Lola, at 3.32am on Saturday morning, weighing 6lb 7oz.
Mum and baby are both doing well! Our warmest congratulations to Miss
Moore and her fiancé on the safe arrival of little Lola!
On a similar theme, today we said ‘au revoir’ to Miss Unite as she will now be
working from home until the end of term as she has reached the third trimester of her
pregnancy and needs to shield ahead of her maternity leave starting in September. I hope that she doesn’t get too bored
working from home, eagerly waiting the excitement of her baby arriving.
Keeping to the maternity leave theme, next week, we will be welcoming Mrs Mason
back to school, on a part-time basis, following the end of her maternity leave - we are looking forward to her joining the
team once more! And, last but by no means least, I am
delighted to tell you that Mrs Felgate is expecting her second child in December.
Our warmest congratulations go to Mr and Mrs Felgate and we wish Mrs Felgate a
trouble-free few months ahead!
TikTok It has come to our attention that a lot of children are
using TikTok. Whilst it can be quite a harmless app, it does have the potential to be used inappropriately and
enable content to be accessed which is not age-appropriate. Hence, it is rated as ‘Age 13’ which means that primary school children should not be using TikTok. Please could you follow this up at
home if applicable to your family. Thank you.
