Friday 24 August Venue address: Technická 6, Prague, Dejvice
Czech National Library of Technology
Pre-registration required for all ticket holders, spaces are limited: register now. Overview: It is often claimed that the most effective investment model for innovation is a combination of private and public funding which allows for sharing the risks. Does this stand true for the challenge of investing in fundamental AI research? If so how can we ensure a collaborative environment which is mutually beneficial for researchers, and the public and private sectors? This and the following session will provide an overview of the current state of affairs, present practical business examples of such collaborative approaches, and open discussion on AI innovation policy for investing in fundamental and applied AI research.
