Relieving Principal’s Message Congratulations to all the students and staff for their efforts with our Remembrance Day Assembly last Monday. The students that had specific roles speaking at the microphone did a tremendous job. A big thank you to our special guest, Sergeant Anderson, from Bandiana Army Barracks in Wodonga, who gave a really valuable and informative speech, with his message to students about the importance of building Resilience. Next Tuesday, students in Year 5/6 will depart on their three day excursion to Melbourne, Ballarat and Bendigo. It promises to be both an informative a rewarding experience for the students, who also get the opportunity to develop further their independent, social and resilient skills. A big thank you to the teachers who are giving up their personal time to accompany the students and for their enormous efforts put in organising the excursion. Plenty of things happening with our hard working P&C. Next Tuesday 20 November, will be a P & C Meeting starting at 7:00pm, which I hope parents can support. Then on Friday, 23 November, The P&C will be holding their annual School Community Food Fest and Market from 4.30 to 7.30pm. I encourage everyone to come along and support the P & C and the school and enjoy a good time. (see the advertise-ment in today’s newsletter for more information). Kinder Transition continues tomorrow, Thursday 15 November from 11am to 12.30pm. We look forward to seeing all the little smiling faces as they prepare themselves for Kindergarten in 2019. Thank you for your continued support of our fantastic school, great staff and amazing students. Jason Weaven Relieving Principal
