Four travellers depart on a journey of the

imagination, from Europe to the Americas,

landing in Shanghai.

It's a journey that takes these voyagers back in

time, though rooted in modernity. A journey

that contrasts speed and superficiality with the

slower, mindful rhythms of the past.

Leather-clad passports. Paper tickets.

Sumptuous silks, crisp cottons and lace-edged

satins in pewter, silver and old gold. Frette's
