FRESHERS PARTY 2016
“Fresher Day” in any college is an event which every student
eagerly awaits from the time of their
admissions.
Seniors of Rourkela Institute of management Studies (RIMS),
Rourkela organized “Fresher s Party2016” in the early
evening on January 27, 2016. This time there was no theme for the
party. Theevent was anchored by Sheikh Saddam and Astha Goel of MBA
4 th semester. The event began
with the formal introduction of the freshers. Thirteen students
were selected for the next round
which was “Show your talent in 1 minute” Tasks were given by
Prof. Raja Mohanty, which the
participants had to perform.
Mausumi Aich and Ram Ratan Soren of MBA 1st year were
selected as Ms. Fresher and Mr.
Fresher respectively. Mausumi stated that “I was confident with
my performance and wasoverwhelmed when my name was announced as Ms.
Fresher ”.
The honour of Mr. Fresher and Ms Fresher was rewarded by Mrs.
Nalini Prabha Pattnaik and Dr.K. K. Patra, Director In-charge,
Rourkela Institute of Management Studies.
The event winded up by DJ dance performances.
