I already have a Digital Subscription to The New York Times. How will this free access at the hotel aff ect me?The free access at the hotel will not aff ect your personal subscription in any way. You will continue to have unlimited access to NYTimes.com and the NYTimes mobile app(s) included in your personal subscription during your stay at the hotel.

I am unable to read more than 10 articles on NYTimes.com (and seeing the pop-up below). What’s wrong?

One of two things may be at issue:

1. You may not be connected to the hotel’s Wi-Fi. Make sure that your device’s Wi-Fi access is turned on, and that you have completed the steps required for Wi-Fi access (e.g., entering the room number). You will not get unlimited access to NYTimes.com if you are connected only to your own personal cellular or Wi-Fi network.

2. You may not be logged into NYTimes.com. Please go to nytimes.com/register to either log into your NYTimes.com account or create an account.

Please contact your hotel front desk if problems persist.

Can I get the free, unlimited access even if I am connected to my company’s VPN?Yes. Connecting to your company’s VPN still keeps your access within the hotel’s network.

I registered for access last time I visited this hotel but can’t remember my password. What should I do?Go to nytimes.com/forgot and enter the email address you used to register. You will receive an email from NYTimes.com with instructions on how to reset your password.

What happens to my access when I leave the hotel?Once you leave the hotel, you will no longer have free, unlimited access to NYTimes.com. Your access will be limited to just10 articles per month if you don’t have a digital subscription (a digital subscription costs $15 to $45 every four weeks).
