This date commemorates the storming of the Bastille, leading to the French Revolution in 1789.

Le festival de CannesThis year, the festival was from 15th till 26th May. This is the place to be for many stars having the
privilege to compete for the golden palm !This years the jury was composed of Steven
Spielberg, Nicole Kidman, Ang Lee, Daniel Auteuil.
The end of the Festival
Each year the festival is ending up with a closing ceremony (« La vie d’Adèle » this year).
