Eligibility for transportation to and/or from a student's
designated home school is a function of the distance from their
residence to their home school as grade level as follows:1. A
secondary student whose residence is more than 4.8 km from their
home secondary school is eligible for transportation2. A secondary
student whose residence is more than 3.2 km from their home
secondary school, whose home address is not transit served, is
eligible for transportation
ADDITIONAL FRENCH IMMERSION SERVICE AREASCHOOL BOUNDARYSecondary
French Immersion students who reside within the areamay be eligible
for transporation IF their home address is NOT transit served. In
all cases Non-Transportation Zones apply.Per Policy 203 (paragraph
5.9) a transit served student is a student who:1. Lives within 1
kilometer of a public transit stop;2. Spends 75 minutes or less
travelling to or from school; and3. Requires 3 vehicles or less
travelling to or from school
