    Created by Royal Commision on the 8 December 1674, in 1788 they were entitled

    Angouleme after the Duke de Angouleme. In 1791 they became the 11e Regiment de

    Dragons.

    Formed by levy at Languedoc on the 4 October 1676, in 1724 they were entitled the Conde-Dragons. The year 1774 saw the title change to Comte-de-Provence and later the same year it

    changed to Monsieur. In 1791, it finally became the 13e Regiment de Dragons.

    Formed on 3 March 1672 by the Marquis de Seyssac, the regiment's name in 1758 was

    Chartres changing in 1776 to Chartres-Dragons and finally becoming the 14e Regiment de

    Dragons in 1791.
