Spiral freezer: 1 tower, 2 stacks, 8.5 tiers each. Infeed height: 36 in. each belt. Discharge height: belt #1- 11.3 in.; belt #2- 11.9 in. Tier spacing: 6 in. Product clearance: 3 in. “COLDSTAR SERIES” SPIRAL FREEZING SYSTEM The RMF “COLDWAVE SERIES” SPIRAL FREEZING SYSTEM is a total freezing system designed to match your specific product requirements. This is truly a versatile freezer designed to handling delicate products such as raw hamburgers, fish cakes and raw dough products, as well as packaged products requiring a extended retention time.

The Process The RMF “COLDWAVE SERIES” SPIRAL FREEZING SYSTEM utilizes a specially designed spiral belt to carry the product through the freezer from the lower level to the upper level. An access deck and baffling system directs high velocity air across the product. This unique baffling system assists in minimizing the total fan static pressure and subsequently reduces the total fan horsepower that is required to refrigerate the product. This dual pass airflow system is more efficient than other vertical flow designs, providing a more uniform air distribution across the product. The RMF airflow system minimizes both freeze time and product weight loss, efficiently freezing the product.
