(UPI)—An American who de-fied Soviet officialdom to stag in Moscow until he married his Russian sweet-heart arrived here today by plane alone and broke.
Larry Brayton, 38, of fair-banks, Alaska, was heading home to set up a place for his bride, the former Rosita Schifman. Brayton had re-fused to leave the Soviet Un-ion when his visa expired. His tourist visa extension came through one hour before the wedding Dec. 17.
Customs officials at Amster-dam's Schipol Airport ques-tioned Brayton for nearly an hour when he arrived and admitted he was penniless. Foreigners without means of support normally are not al-lowed to enter the country. the officals finally per
