HANS RAUSING LECTURE THEATRE The Spy-ence Show Presentation, 19.30 and 20.30 Join us in this interactive science show where you’ll explore the wonders of sending messages, breaking codes and keeping secrets. EXPLORING SPACE A real Moon rock, satellites and rockets tell the story of space exploration. LEVEL -1 LEVEL 0 LEVEL 3 SEE + DO MAKING THE MODERN WORLD This gallery has iconic objects that have shaped our world in the last 250 years. Secrets Unravelled Drop in, 18.30–21.15 In this hands-on workshop you’ll get to create your very own scytale cipher and put your code-breaking skills to the test. Engine Shed Drop in, 18.30–21.15 Come and build a railway! See if we can fill the gallery with The Engine Shed’s giant Brio and Tomy train sets. Puzzle Zone Drop in, 18.30–21.15 Try to crack the Morse code and Caesar cipher codes. Robot Workshop Drop in, 18.30–21.15 Take part in a workshop where you can program some Bee-Bots to go around a maze and make some MiPs move around by programming them with your body. TOMORROW’S WORLD Our Driverless: Who is in Control? exhibition explores how technology developers are racing to create fully autonomous machines with the ability to make decisions on their own. Planetarium 10- to 15-minute presentations, 19.00–21.00 Scientists from Imperial College are here with a planetarium so you can talk to them about space. WONDERLAB: THE EQUINOR GALLERY Free entry 18.30–21.15 Fuel your imagination and immerse yourself in a world of wonder in our spectacular interactive science gallery. With 50 marvels of science to enjoy, Wonderlab is an experience unlike any other. FLIGHT In the Flight gallery you can learn all about planes and flying machines. HELP AND SUPPORT If you need any help or support at any point throughout the event please do not hesitate to approach any member of staff. We hope you enjoy your evening! Early Birds is supported by The Lord Leonard and Lady Estelle Wolfson Foundation FREE WI-FI Available throughout the museum. ATM An ATM is located between the Shop and the Energy Café. TOILETS/CLOAKROOM Toilets are located on all levels. A cloakroom is available on level -1. Mobiloo (a pop-up Changing Places facility) will be outside the museum this evening. It features a hoist, adult-sized changing bench and everything else you’d expect to find in a fully accessible toilet. To access, please leave the museum by the main exit, go left, then turn left onto Imperial College Road ENERGY CAFÉ Open 18.30–21.25 for hot drinks and cold dishes.
