Application ProcessStudents must submit the SFC admissions application and the tuition grant application in conjunction withthescholarshipapplication.TheEagleScholarshipapplicationswillbereviewedbytheSFCScholarshipCommitteecomprisedofadministratorsandfaculty.Asetoffinalistswillbeselectedforthe final interview with the Scholarship Committee. how many scholarships will be awarded? TheSFCEagleScholarshipwillbeawardedto1incomingfreshmaneachyear.

Who is eligible? Thescholarshipwillbeawardedtoone9thgradestudent,newtoSFC,whohasbeenofferedacceptancetotheschool.SFCisoperatedonanon-discriminatorybasis,andnooneshallbeexcludedfromthisscholarshiponthebasisofrace,color,ornationalorigin.Wedoreservetherighttoscreenapplicants on the basis of religious preference.

What criteria are used for selection? Eachapplicantmustsatisfytheadmissionscriteria–academically,spiritually,behaviorally,andfinancially.SFCEagleScholarshipsarebasedonoutstandingacademics,deeppersonalfaith,strongcharacter and financial need. This is not an athletic scholarship, but rather one that will be awarded to a student who truly embodies the mission of our school.

Whilereceiptofanawardforoneyearisnotaguaranteethatthescholarshipwillberenewed,ourexpectationisthatthescholarshipwillfollowtherecipientthroughall4years.Recipientsofthis scholarship are eligible to have the scholarship renewed annually based on grades, conduct, involvement in SFC, and continuing financial need.

The applications will be reviewed by an SFC Scholarship Committee comprised of administrators andfaculty.Asetoffinalists(6students)willbeselectedforaFinalistInterviewwiththeScholarshipCommittee. Can i lose my santa Fe Christian schools scholarship? Yes, a scholarship may be canceled at any time because of conduct the committee deems contrary to theacceptableacademic,citizenship,andspiritualstandards.
