MINISTERIAL OUTREACH ON CAMPAIGN AGAINST ATTACK ON FOREIGN NATIONALS

Minister for Rural Development and Land Reform Mr Gugile Nkwinti led the Provincial Executive Council on a campaign to stamp out the attach against foreign nationals. The campaign was intertwined with the launch of the bus claim campaign where communities can register their claims at ease without travelling long distances.

The Minister was accompanied by MEC for Human Settlement Ms Olley Mlamleli; MEC for Public Works Mr Mashinini; MEC For DESTEA MEC Msebenzi Zwane, Thabo Mofutsanyane Executive Mayor, Cllr Malefu Vilakazi; Maluti A Phofung executive Mayor, Cllr Vusimuzi Tshabalala, Fezile Dabi Excexutive Mayor Mr MP Moshodi, Phumelela Mayor Mr Tlokotsi Motaung partnering with civil society organisations and community organisations including representatives of foreign nationals.

The programme started with a Minister addressing Media and Launching Land Claims Mobile Offices and Imbizo where political principals interacted with communities from Qwaqwa in the Free State condemning all acts of violence and mobilising communities to continue with demonstrating peaceful co-existence.
