Humanity. We believe this Organisation does make a

difference for families. We work in partnership with Habitat

for Humanity to support their initiatives on-the-ground by

donating products, providing manpower support for building

projects and by raising awareness of the Organisation

Tennis Tour. We also use our association with women’s tennis

and its top players to raise money for the Organisation.

look after your food, maintaining optimal food storage conditions with maximum energy efficiency, so that you have more

time for the things that really matter to you.

Intelligent refrigerators that keep food so fresh

Whirlpool’s unique 6TH SENSE® technology intelligent

sensors constantly adjust to temperature changes,

sensing, adapting and controlling the temperature to

ensure that food looks, smells and tastes perfectly fresh.

When the door is left open or after a temporary power cut

in your home, the sensors detect the change and rapidly

channel chilled air into the storage zone, restoring

the required temperature up to 5 times faster than

a conventional fridge. In No Frost Fresh Control™

refrigerators, the temperature recovery is up to 10 times

faster. These sensors mean that, unlike a normal fridge,

which cools continuously, 6TH SENSE® models cool only

when they need to prevent the temperature rising, making

them exceptionally environmentally friendly and energy

efficient.


Antibacterial systemWhirlpool, together with Microban®, the market

leader in antibacterial solutions, have developed an

antibacterial air filtration system: state of the art

technology designed to help reduce unpleasant odours in your

appliance. Fridge air passes through the filter that has built-

in Microban antibacterial agents. This hygienic filter treated

with Microban helps trap and kill airborne micro-organisms

caught within it. It keeps working for the life of your filter -

about 6 months - after which the filter is easily replaced.

All Whirlpool Side by Side, Combi and Double Door

refrigerators with ventilation or featuring Multi-Flow

technology are equipped with an antibacterial system.

Filtered waterWhirlpool Side by Side and Aqua Space Combi refrigerators

have a built-in filter ensuring your ice and water are

always fresh and pure-tasting. It helps to eliminate sand, lead, rust

and other water impurities and helps to remove the odour and taste

of chlorine, for pleasant and healthy water. The filter has a duration

of about 6 months, or 1500 litres - after which it can be easily

replaced.

Black Out AlertAt the end of a power cut, the refrigerator automatically

checks the temperature when the electricity supply is

restored. If it has risen above freezing level, the Black Out

Alert Alarm (LED and buzzer) will let you know so you can

make an informed decision about whether frozen food may

have been spoiled.

No Frost Fresh Control™ Technology

Whirlpool’s new No Frost Fresh Control™ refrigerators naturally

keeps food fresh for up to twice as long as a conventional

refrigerator, thanks to its active sensors that sense changes in

temperature and humidity and control and adapt accordingly,

allowing an optimal environment to maintain food properties. As

it maintains water content inside the food, it helps preserve

vitamins, antioxidants and useful microelements for longer: your

food looks, tastes and smells much better. Even cheese, vegetables

and salads remain as fresh as ever with No Frost Fresh Control™.

Air quality is further improved by the new 6TH SENSE® Advance

sensor filter that helps to purify circulating air, reducing bacteria,

odours and the risk of cross-contamination between different

foods. And of course, with new No Frost Fresh Control™ you can

forget defrosting.

storage areas, reducing humidity to prevent the

impersonal harshness of traditional yellow lighting for the

clarity of arctic brightness. Not only is it easier on the eyes,

the lamp is more vibration resistant, creating a steadier glow

that is both more practical and more stylishly hi-tech.

2 in 1 shelfMaximum flexibility, and stability, is guaranteed

by the new 2 in 1 shelf, designed to store

bottles of any size. It is particularly useful when you need that

extra space for bottles, like in the summer or for a party. It can

also be used as a normal shelf to store items of any size.

Sliding shelvesThese shelves are mounted on sliding rails, allowing you

to reach things easily anywhere on any individual shelf

simply by sliding it out as far as you need to.

capacity (32 litres) fruit and vegetable crisper with a sliding

deepest door balconies without compromising the crisper

size. Ideal for bottles, fruit juices etc, these highly practical

shelves are also fitted with a useful divider to help keep

The through-the-door ice and water dispensers in Whirlpool

Side by Side fridge freezers have a fresh ice system and

a built-in water filter. Fresh tasting crushed or cubed ice

and water are always available and energy is saved because

you open the freezer door less often. Combi Aqua Space

offers you pure chilled water through the door without

compromising space inside the cavity or the door. The water

filter purifies 1500 litres of water before it needs changing

and is easy to replace when it does.

New Ice trays come with a cover that avoids spillage of water,

but are especially designed to prevent your ice cubes from

”catching” odours from other food stored nearby… so your

cocktails are always perfect.

The child safety lock on Whirlpool LCD washing machines disables

programme time or the heat level as these are automatically

Air vented dryersThese dryers are supplied with a venting kit which ducts air to the outside. Drying levels for different fabrics aredetermined by different manually set programme lengths. 6th Sense® models end the programme automatically whenperfect drying is achieved.

Condenser DryersCondenser dryers are very convenient as they convert steam

to water and collect it in a container so they don’t need

venting and you can position them anywhere in your kitchen

**IMPORTANT NOTES: Because the capacity of an American dryer is more than double that of a standard dryer, it needs more power to drythe laundry in as short a time as possible. Electric dryers must therefore have a minimum of 30 amp hard wire connection within one metre of the appliance. You will also need to vent the dryer exhaust to the outside, to prevent excess condensation inside the house. Vent hoses can be up to 30 feet long if required. These can be purchased from any builders’ merchant and most DIY stores. An optional four-way vent kit will allow you to vent the dryer from the bottom or either side, and is available as an accessory from Whirlpool Spares on 01 6161 731. These machines are not suitable for coin operation or for multiple use in residential blocks. Electric dryers must be installed by a qualifiedelectrician. American washing machines have no internal element and use handwash powder. A good supply of hot water and good water pressure is recommended.

**IMPORTANT NOTES: Because the capacity of an American dryer is more than double that of a standard dryer, it needs more power to drythe laundry in as short a time as possible. Electric dryers must therefore have a minimum of 30 amp hard wire connection within one metre of the appliance. You will also need to vent the dryer exhaust to the outside, to prevent excess condensation inside the house. Vent hoses can be up to 30 feet long if required. These can be purchased from any builders’ merchant and most DIY stores. An optional four-way vent kit will allow you to vent the dryer from the bottom or either side, and is available as an accessory from Whirlpool Spares on 01 6161 731. These machines are not suitable for coin operation or for multiple use in residential blocks. Electric dryers must be installed by a qualifiedelectrician. American washing machines have no internal element and use handwash powder. A good supply of hot water and good water pressure is recommended.
