The Sprinter chassis is powered by an amazingly quiet 2.7litre Turbo charged Mercedes Benz, 5 cylinder Diesel engine,with common rail direct injection. An impressive 25 gal fueltank gives you a range of 550 miles with an estimated 22 (US)mpg. Oil changes are required every 10,000 miles withmaintenance intervals at every 20,000 miles. The Sprintercombines long life, low maintenance costs and better fuelefficiency, with the smooth, clean quiet performance not typicallyexpected from diesels. The Mercedes Benz engine generates154hp@3800 rpms and 254 lb-ft torque@1600-2400 rpms.

To maintain the high level of quality andfinish that Leisure Travel Vans is knownfor, many components are developedand fabricated on-site through our ownwoodshop, paint shop and sewing andplastics departments. Each Free Spiritis equipped with stone guard and aurethane undercoating. Such measuresreduce road noise and protect theundercarriage and holding tanks fromthe harsh road elements. Our plant islocated in Morden, Manitoba, Canada,home of the Annual Corn and AppleFestival. We are open for plant toursMonday through Friday by appointment.
In working to keep in touch with owners,Leisure became more than a company,we developed a community. Leisure'spopularity has resulted in the organizationof regional chapters and once a year, weorganize an Owner's Rally, a fun way for Leisure Motorhome owners
to meet and learn moreabout the vans and all thetravel possibilities.
