Shipping your Shun Knives. • Download the Shun Sharpening Services & Warranty Form. The form is located at http://www.shuncutlery.com/warranty.php?brand=shun. Complete all the information on the form and include a copy with your knives when shipping. Be sure to include your return shipping payment. • Carefully pack your knives; even a dull knife can be dangerous! Packing must survive multiple handlings and arrive intact. Kitchen Knives:

• Wrap your knife in several layers of newspaper or bubble wrap, making sure to fully cover the tip. Use tape to keep the layers of wrapping and keep from becoming loose. If you have a blade sheath, place your knife in its sheath and we will return both of them to you.

• If you are returning more than one knife, wrap each knife individually, and then wrap them all together so that they won't roll around in the box, causing damage to the blades or handles.

Shipping Box: • Place filler material - such as packing peanuts, bubble wrap, or newspaper - on the bottom of your

shipping box. Then place the knives in the box and add another layer of filler on top of the knives. • If you wish to keep original Shun knife packaging, please do NOT send it in with your knife for

warranty service. All packaging sent to us as part of a warranty service shipment will be recycled. • Ship the knife or knives to us via any shipping carrier of your choice; please get tracking information for

Return Shipping. Return shipping costs apply for Shun sharpening and warranty services. The cost is $5 for the first knife and $2 for each additional knife for domestic shipping. For shipping to Canada, a $15 flat rate applies. Please enclose check, money order, or credit card information in the space provided on the warranty form.

Let us know whether any of these items have sentimental value. If we cannot repair a knife which has sentimental value, we can return it to you.

Knives are extremely sharp tools and should only be used with the utmost care and caution.

Enclose the completed form, along with your warranty or service item/s, in a shipping box (envelopes are not allowed). Close and tape the box securely. We recommend shipping your package with a company that uses tracking numbers. Kai USA Ltd. will not be responsible for any damage or loss incurred if your items are not properly packaged and shipped. If you are

shipping from outside the United States: Avoid unnecessary duty charges by fi lling out the declaration form required by US Customs. Note on the form that the items are being returned for warranty service.
