Free Prenatal Classes at Hudson Regional Hospital
Our obstetrics department believes that moms-to-be should have a beautiful birthing experience from start to finish. Our board-certified doctors and nurses offer caring and efficient support, and our state-of-the-art technology ensures babies will come into the world happy, healthy, and feeling their best. Our birthing suites are designed with the needs of moms and babies in mind. We offer individual, private Labor & Delivery and Recovery rooms as well as a 16-bed Postpartum Unit. We function in an inclusive family-centered environment where sibling visitation is encouraged.

8-hour childbirth class!
Reasons To Attend a Child Birthing Class
Classes are held onsite the second Saturday of each month
on the 2nd floor in the GME Room.
Opportunity to ask questionsIt’s normal to have a variety of questions and concerns about childbirth. Childbirth classes are a great place for you to ask questions freely and get accurate information.
Pain management, breathing, and relaxation techniques
Childbirth classes will emphasize the role of the support person and comfort measures for birth. We want to make sure mom and her labor partner have all the tools they need to ensure her comfort and confidence.
Learn about newborn caring and breastfeeding
Class will include information on adjusting to life with a newborn, how to best care for your new baby, and introduce you to valuable informationon breastfeeding.

Expecting Mothers and Fathers are invited to attend and will be educated on a wide range of topics including: the labor and birth process, breathing and relaxation techniques, proper diet and exercise, postpartum care, and breastfeeding.
