Monday: Welcome to Maker Week! Making is as old as humanity, but easy access to sophisticated creation tools and methods will revolutionize our world. Monday’s panel will introduce these concepts in a lively discussion of the present, past, and future.

Tuesday: Coding with Your Kids Coding isn’t just for computer geniuses… coding is for everyone. Learn how to help your kids—as young as four—to move robots, draw pictures with code, mash up internet services, make computer games, and more! Led by a dad of girls who love to code. Clinton Judy—The Make Space. Wednesday: D.I.Y. Digital Fabrication for Artists Take a look at how artists and students are incorporating Digital Fabrication tools including 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC processes, 3D scanning, and more. Walk away with approaches which are inexpensive, accessible, and inventive. With Tom Lauerman—Assistant Professor of Art at Penn State University, School of Visual Art. Thursday: Leaders in Industry Panel Come hear how companies large and small are using 3D printing to develop their design ideas, create prototypes, and produce parts that are being used on the products we buy, the cars we drive, and the planes in which we fly.
