How to Use Secure the stencil with Masking tape

or low-tack adhesive, to prevent its

movement.

Pick up some wet mediums (like Paint,

Inks) on Stencil Brush or Sponge or

Foam.

Tap off excess medium on paper towel.

Now apply on stencil

Apply colors in diff erent shades and

highlight them if necessary. Allow

drying time between applications

Use gentle swirling or tapping motions to prevent the mediums from

seeping underneath.

Once done, remove stencil by ift ing gently up one corner.

Uses :Inks, Paints, Sprays, Texture Paste, Embossing Paste, Embossing powders

Air Brushing, Glittering, Bleaching, Stamping, Doodling, Dry Embossing.

Care :Wash the stencils immediately aft er use. Clean them with Soap water

Some Inks may stain the stencil, but will not aff ect its performance

Instructions:1. Clean the glass thoroughly and spray it withFolkArt paints Yellow

and Bright Green.Let it dry for 2 hours.

2. Now secure the Choose Joy stencil on the glass with low tack adhe-

sive. Make sure it is bent and is tightly fi xed over the curves of glass.

Th is will prevent paint seepage.

3. Apply Licorice paint with stencil brush on the design. Leave it to dry

for 15 minutes and then remove the stencil.

4. Varnish the glass completely 2-3 times.

5. Now place the Tea Light Candle inside and beautiful Tea Light Holder

is ready!!

InstructionsFor Earring and Pendant

1. Use EK Success Circle Punch and punch chipboard circles. 2” Circles

for Earring and 2.5” Circles for Pendant

2. Using 0.125” Circle punch , punch holes 1 in the top, 3 or 5 in the

bottom of the chipboards

3. Stack and glue together 2-3 chipboards, depending upon the thick-

ness you need.

4. Paint them black with FolkArt Licorice Acrylic paint. Let them dry.

5. Secure the Stencil on the Earring/Pendant base , with a tape.

6. Using your pencils with the stencils, mark all the circles on the Ear-

ring / Pendant Base.

7. Now remove the stencils and start dropping dots with 3D Paint, fol-

lowing a Pattern.

8. Let them dry for 12 hours.

9. Varnish them completely.

10. Hang tassels at the bottom and Earring hooks at the top.

Multi-layered stencils Multi-layered stencils are used to create images with more detail and

depth than you can achieve with single layered stencils. Each stencil

layer will have registration marks cut into them so that you can quick-

ly and easily line up each stencil layer.

For Bangle

1. Bangle is a curved surface and one needs to excise caution, when

marking the dots. Or you may end up with crooked markings.

2. Follow the same instructions as for Earrings with stencil Dot Border

Once done varnish it thoroughly.

Instructions:1. Pick up a Cardstock and secure the Layer 1 of stencil on all 4 sides.

2. Ink the individual building with diff erent Distress inks by using mask-

ing tapes. Ref Pic.

3. Once done, secure the Layer 2 of the stencil, aligning it with inked

image.

4. Now, add detail with the same inks - Pink on pink, blue on blue..etc

5. Remove the stencil and mask the inked buildings fully.

6. Blend Black soot and Blue print sketch distress inks to create sky in

the background.

7. Remove the mask.

8. Add dots with white gel pen. Add sentiment and grey glitter washi

tape to fi nish of the card.

Instructions1. Using 3 shades of blue from Aqua to True Blue to Ultramarine, color

blend the canvas. Do it till you are satisfi ed with the results.

2. On some areas distress the canvas with a shade ofBright pink,Perfect-

purple and very little black.

3. With the help of a brush, paint the Craft reat Owl Stencil design using

white acrylic paint.

4. Also use the same white paint to stencil the numbers 12 and 6 on the

top and bottom of the canvas.

5. Colour the clock hands with Yellow acrylic paint. Let them dry.

6. Once happy with all the colour combos, apply two generous coats of

varnish giving 3-4 hours of drying time between each coat.

7. Pierce the center of the canvas and set up the clock mechanism with

batteries. Viola! Your clock is ready!!

Instructions1. Give a coat of Black Gesso and let it dry. Th is will ensure all the paints

stick to slick surface. You can skip this step if you want.

2. Next give a Coat of Multisurface Licorice paint and let it dry.

3. Secure the Lonely Man/ Woman stencil on the plate

4. Apply Glue through the Stencils and sprinkle bronze chunky glitter

on it.

5. Dab with fi nger and make sure all the glitter sticks to it. Tap off the

excess.

6. Pick up a little Brushed Metallics Bronze paint with a Flat brush and

Dry brush it on the edges – strokes should be towards the center.

7. Once dry apply, Dishwasher safe Mod Podge to make it water proof.

Instructions:1. Paint the sides of the tray with Folk Art Chalk Paint Java and let it dry

naturally. Th en apply Folk Art Home Decor Wax to areas where you

want to distress.

2. Top coat them with Irish Color and Sand it to get the desired Rustic

look.

3. Paint the center of the tray with Folk Art Rich Black, for chalk board

eff ect.

4. Apply Folk Art Chalk Paint Sheep Skin on the stencil to get down the

text on the tray. Aft er it is dry, apply mod podge on the text through

the stencil to make it long lasting.

5. Cut the outlines of Flower design Decoupage Paper / Napkin you

want to use. Stick the fl ower on the tray using Mod Podge.

6. Seal the entire tray with Mod Podge and let it dry. Now your tray is

ready to serve!

Red.

Black.

2. Using the Antique Linen Distress ink, stencil the whole cardstock.

Honey Distress ink.

Instructions:1. Carefully paint the sides of the coasters with Licorice.

2. Cover the front and back of the coasters with FolkArt Chalk Paint

Sheep skin.

3. Using Sunny Yellow and Pure Orange acrylic colors on the Tribal Fac-

es Background stencil, blend the colors with Stencil Brushes

4. Using the Congo Mask Stencil with Licorice, paint the Mask designs

on the coasters.

5. Once dried, use the stickles to add small dots around the edges of the

stenciled design

6. Varnish 2-3 coats, to make it waterproof. Your Tea Coasters are ready!!

Instructions Th e Canvas has a few prominent elements apart from the main element

of Buddha’s face.

1. Leaves and the overall colour scheme signifying the Bodhi tree under

which Buddha sat for meditation.

2. Th e numericals signifying the knowledge He received.

3. Th e Roses signifying the attainment of complete Enlightment, like

knowledge blooming within.

4. Apply a coat of Mod Podge and decoupage a layer of Newspaper on

Canvas.Make sure that, there are no air bubbles.

5. Apply a Layer of Gesso to tone down the print.

6. Th e second layer has acrylic paints.Cream, Yellow, Diff erent shades of

Green, Blue and Golden in a very light single coat

7. Draw the leaves on the left side and colour them with paints. Mark a

few numbers on the top right.

8. Near the leaves,apply a bit blue and gold with the help of Ombre

square stencils.

9. Waterdown the blue color and drop a few drops from the top. Allow

it to freely fl ow down.

10. Take a bubble wrap, dip it in gesso and stamp it in a couple of places

11. Stencil Down Buddha Face with Black paint.

12. Th e crown area and ear lobes can be given a copper gold touch with

the help of Brushed Metallics paints.

13. UseOld Ivy and Licorice colors on the sides here and there to give

defi nition to the edges

14. Th e last and fi nal addition is the stamped and colored image of roses.

Stick them to the canvas with Double Sided Foam Tape to give it a

dimension.
