DAY 1 – Depart the USADepart the USA on your overnight flight to Paris, France.

DAY 2 – ParisUpon arrival in Paris, transfer to your hotel. Your journey begins inParis, the magnificent ‘City of Light’. The day is free to explore onyour own or simply relax.

DAY 3 – Paris City TourAfter breakfast, enjoy an included panoramic tour of this capitalcity. See such famous sites and landmarks as the Louvre, OpéraGarnier, Place Vendôme, the trendy district of Le Marais on theRight Bank, Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triom-phe, Place de la Bastille, the Trocadéro and the pièce de rèsistance….the Eiffel Tower. DAY 4 – Embark the MS Scenic GemIn the early afternoon, depart the hotel and embark the MS ScenicGem, home for the next seven nights. Visit the historic district Place duVieux-Marche where a monument marks the spot where Joan of Arcwas burnt at the stake. Today this charming, bustling town squareis dominated by the church of Saint Joan of Arc. Enjoy free time thisafternoon to explore this quaint city. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 7 – Honfleur / NormandyAs the ship arrives in the picturesque village of Honfleur, you have achoice of activities for today. On an excursion to Normandy, see thenow peaceful province which is very different than on June 6, 1944.Walk the historic beaches and visit the Landing Museum at Arro-manches. At the Normandy American Cemetery, see thousands ofwhite crosses marking the graves of our military heroes. OR, take anopportunity to explore postcard perfect Honfleur with its colorfulfishing boats and historic houses. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 8 – Honfleur / Caudebec-en-CauxToday brings a choice of two excursions. Travel to Fécamp, situatedin spectacular surroundings amidst the tallest cliffs of Normandy.The city’s natural setting contrasts perfectly with its architecturalcenterpiece, the Benedictine Palace. OR, choose to travel throughpicturesque landscapes that were once dotted with over 100 abbeys.Along the way, visit some of the abbeys of this magnificent regionthat are still operating today. DAY 9 – VernonYour choice of activities includes an excursion to Giverny andMonet’s former residence and gardens where you will be amazed bythe beauty of the landscape as you stroll along the paths. OR, ifyou’re feeling more adventurous, explore by bike, with a self-guidedcycling tour that starts in Vernon.You’re in for a treat as you experi-ence the opulence and grandeur of yesteryear as you attend a classi-cal concert performed by the region’s most reputable musicians atthe Château de La Roche Guyon. DAY 10 – ParisArriving back in Paris, your free choice activities are: shop with aChef at local food markets and enjoy exquisite tastings, OR, walkthe city with a resident expert and hear tales that only the localsknow. Alternatively, you may choose to explore beyond the citylimits and tour the 17th-century estate of Château Vaux-le-Vicomte,featured in the James Bond movie Moonraker. Meals: B, L, D
