EVIL EYE CLUB #2

Welcome! A quick introduction: Evil Eye Club is a

sparkling new initiative – ready to bring new and

upcoming artists and bands to Amsterdam’s

finest venues and clubs. Talent needs a stage,

and we’re offering it! After a successful edition

in Winston Kingdom last November, we moved

over to one of our favorite spots of Amsterdam:

Cinetol. A place for starters, creatives and

musicians to come together and work out their

big plans in an inspiring environment. We love

the place & hope to get back here many times!

Anyways, our program is FULL!

SPOILERS (UK) – This band comes to the

Netherlands for the first time, and we’re so

happy to host their Amsterdam show. This band

is young, energetic and ready to go: speed

garagerock, melodic and tasty, the new

generation of rock ‘n’ roll heroes from the UK.

Don’t miss out! 2015 is going to be their year.

And then there is BLACKBOXRED (NL) , our

headliner today: this amazing grunge duo from

Leeuwarden is set to release the new 10” ‘Beak

To Beak’ – and we’re so excited about it! We feel

honoured to host their little release party here at

Evil Eye Club. 3voor12 about the ep: “Five

furious and dangerous tunes. They’re able to

create a huge wall of sound even without a

bassist. BLACKBOXRED’s sound is faster,

moreaggressive and more intense than their last

release.”

MINI ART FAIR is our monthly art fair with new

talented artists from all over the country, who

can present their custom made Evil Eye Club art

to our visitors during the shows. This month, we

asked five artists to come up with their own

version of Blackboxred’s Beak To Beak album

cover. These artists only had a few weeks to

create it, and we are so impressed by the

outcome. Amazing paintings and illustrations, all

for sale so place your bids!
