The Back Alley Blues Band was formed when Harry struck out on his own. Harry is a 30 year veteran of the blues. The genuine article. Lou Borgenicht Hohner harmonicas will be given to the first 110 workshop attendees free of charge. We’ll teach you how to play a traditional blues harp riff and conduct an informal Q & A session to answer any questions you may have about playing your new blues harp. A portion of the workshop will be an intimate concert demonstrating how the blues harp blends with the blues guitar. This hands-on workshop is presented by members of the Utah Blues Society. Tony has become a rising force on the national harmonica scene, touring the US six to eight months per year, Tony is listed by Blues Harmonica Player ™ as one of top 12 up and coming harmonica players (Rick Estrin, Charlie Musslewhite, etc.) in the United States! Lou irst played harmonica in a jug band. He later moved to SLC and hooked up with: The Blue Healers, The Roosters, The Wilson Project & currently Better Off With the Blues, the traditional acoustic blues band appearing at the 2017 Utah Blues Festival.
