A Re-Cap: Funding for FBW&S Cross-subsidisation Equitable Share
To accelerate the delivery of FBS the following additional allocations were made from the fiscus for the 2003/04 financial year:
Free Basic Energy Grant R 300 mFree Basic Services Grant R 822 m
these grants are allocated as a separate window to the Local Govt. Equitable Share

Monitor implementation [& DORA ’03] includes the monitoring of usage of ES for FBW&S subsidisation Align with DPLG’s & NT’s monitoring mechanisms
