followed by the releasing of hundreds of Ladybugs
in the gardens!
July 12 ~ MERMAIDS & GIANTS ~ an acoustic duo singing familiar children’s songs
for kids of all ages and their moms and dads
July 19 ~ DARLENE GRAHAM SONG AND
DANCE ~ Darlene gets everyone up and dancing
with her lively music & surprises!
July 26 ~ JESTER JIM ~ Juggler, Beatboxer,
Comedian & Balloon Artist!
August 2 ~ GRINS & GRINS ~ great fun & lots
of laughs for all ages
August 9, 10 & 11 ~ No Family Fridays ~ Visit the
Sayville Chamber of Commerce SUMMERFEST
August 16 ~ STRUMMIN’ & DRUMMIN’
a trio of Long Island musicians who bring plenty of
instruments so everyone can sing and play along.
August 23 ~ PETRA PUPPETS - Parents with any
age kid can get together and laugh - like a Comedy
Club for Families!
August 30 ~ Rain Date for one rained out show.
Gardening in the Park ~ Join other dedicated
volunteers to care for the beautiful gardens and
grounds. Tools are provided. There are non-
gardening tasks as well. Come when you can from
9:00 am - noon on Saturdays - April 6 & 20, May 4
& 18, June 1 & 15, July 6 & 20, Aug. 3 & 17, Sep.
7 & 21, Oct. 5 & 19 and Nov. 2 & 16.

Come and join us for a guided labyrinth walk
during the full moon, equinoxes and solstices.
Gatherings are at 7:30 pm on April 19, May 18,

23, October 13, November 12, and December 21.

The Common Ground Story This precious park, conceived in the wake of
September 11, 2001, is lovingly offered and
maintained by the community.
May it stand as a breathing testament to the infinite
possibilities present when good people cherish their entire
village as home and their neighbor as family.

The Peace Labyrinth is modeled in the
mini Chartres design with a crushed red stone
pathways lined by paving stones. The labyrinth
is an ancient pattern found in many cultures around
the world. The path winds throughout and becomes a
mirror to where we are in our lives. It touches our sorrows
and releases our joys when it is walked with an open mind
and an open heart.

The Common Ground Purchase an engraved paving stone to be placed
in one of the walkways. The paving stones
represent the community in a personal and
individualized way to honor family names,
weddings, births, loved ones past and present, or to
share thoughts of humor or wisdom.
⋆ The cost of each stone is $65.00.
⋆ Stones may be engraved with up to three lines of
14 characters per line (including spaces and
punctuation). Multiple stones may be used to
accommodate larger messages. These symbols are
also available:
⋆ If you would like your stone placed in a
particular location, please include a note along with
this form. Your engraved stone can take up to two
months or more to be installed in the walkway.
