From The State Worthy President

Hello Brothers and Sisters,

Here we go into the month of April. On the

14th of February we went to my home Aerie

Ocala Forest #4216 for the State Presidents

charity walk. What a great turn out, #4216

did a outstanding job, thank you guys for

everything you did.

Then on February 20th, 21st and 22nd was

of State Dart Tournament at Ocala #3656.

Great job you guys everyone had a great

time, good food, and good friendship with all

the trimmings. Thanks, Rose and all at

#3656. Also, on February 21st my home

Aerie had their 26 Anniversary celebration,

another great job, thanks # 4216 for all that

you do. Then on to Dade City for another

great night.

From Dade City we went to the State

Presidents Roast in New Port Richey. Junior

Past State President John Brancaccio did a

great job setting it up and with all the help

that was with him. It was a fun night with

good food and good friends. Now I think I

can set up my own airport. All the State

Officers were dressed up like airplanes, and

John was the air traffic control tower,

directing all the airplanes over my head as

they dropped gifts on my head. A lot of

money was donated to Jeanette and my

charity, this was great, we both thank you

guys so much for your support.

Preparing now for Cocoa Anniversary and

then the State Picnic, will follow up in the

next newsletter on these events.

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

WOW what a wonderful past couple weeks.

The Presidents Roast was in New Port

Richey on March 14. The laughter was

contagious people laughed at some of the

things that I did and I laughed at myself

also. I just want to thank everyone who was

there and for all the nice gifts and especially

for all of the money that you donated to the

charity. Sun Coast Aerie and Auxiliary did a

fantastic job hosting the event.

The state picnic was held in Cypress Hut we

all had a good time, you always do a good

job, thank you for hosting. Our bowling

tournament is coming up the last weekend in

April at New Port Richey that will also be a

fun filled weekend so get to practicing and

come over and bowl a few games. It is all

electronic to no sore muscles on Monday.

May 16th is the Youth Rally. It is a fun day

for the kids and also for the adults watching

them. Steve and Julie Silvestro have a fun

filled day planned for the kids. If you or

your Aerie can donate cash or needed items

that would always be a big help to them.

From the State Madam President

It will not be long until State Convention.

Try to attend. It is a very informative couple

days and we also have a lot of fun.

Our membership goal it getting very close so

keep signing up members. Thank you for all

you have done to make my goal come true.

Thanks to all that have been making blankets

for the babies some of the handy work that I

have seen is just beautiful.

I would like to wish all of my brothers and

sister a happy and blessed Easter.

Keep up the TEAM WORK and all of our

jobs will be easier.

Flag Ceremony at State Convention

At the 2015 State Convention in Orlando, we will again have an

Opening Flag Ceremony to recognize the Auxiliaries in our

state. Each Auxiliary will have a representative carry their flag

into the meeting room. It is recommended that the

representative be the out-going Madam President from the 2014

-2015 year. If she is not attending, another sister could be the

flag carrier.

You may include something on the flag that signifies your area

of the state, your Auxiliary’s name, or it can just be your name

and Auxiliary number. Please be creative! If you had a flag in a

previous year’s ceremony, you may use the same one.

The flag should be rectangle and as close to 11 x 14 inches as

possible. (The 11 inches would be the vertical sides and 14

inches, the horizontal sides.) Please include a dowel to extend

approximately 18 inches beyond the bottom of the flag. The

dowel should be no more than 7/16 inches in diameter in order

to fit in the flag holders.

On Thursday, prior to the Opening Ceremony at State

Convention, the representatives should gather in the hallway

outside of the meeting room to line up for the flag presentation.

Please complete the below form and return it to Barbara Barber,

State Secretary.
