FRANÇOIS DUMAS ANEMONE rug 2012 Anemone is a rug inspired by a painting in which the brushstrokes imitate the slow movement of sea anemones. The different shades of blue, red, grey or green of the watercolor are perfectly transposed with wool. Each shape is carved out by hand into the wool to add some definition to the design. Anemone is available both in standard dimensions and bespoke colors and shapes. La Chance rugs are handtuffted in India. Anemone is a rug inspired by a painting in which the brushstrokes imitate the slow movement of sea anemones. The different shades of blue, red, grey or green of the watercolor are perfectly transposed with wool. Each shape is carved out by hand into the wool to add some definition to the design.

Anemone is available both in standard dimensions and bespoke colors and shapes.

La Chance rugs are handtuffted in India. Each rug is made by hand using the best yarn from New Zealand and died for each rug to perfectly adapt to our clients requests.

Colors, size & shape can be custom made according to wishes and measurements of the client.

OTHER DETAILS Delivery: 10 weeksAll rugs are handcrafted. Every rug is unique and there may be minor variations in size. Wool is dyed by hand in India and slight chromatic variatons between a rug and another may be observed.

Vacuum at least once a week with a no-brush mode, without forcing (especially during the first months).In case spill happens, use a dry sponge to remove as much liquid as possible, then use water with a non-abrasive soap. Fully dry the rug with a clean cloth.

The designerFrançois Dumas is a French designer based in Amsterdam. His work has been shown in various exhibitions and he won the Villa Noailles’s Grand Prize in 2010 for the Sealed chair. He is also a founding member of the Krux collective that involves designers, artists and craftsmen.
