All learners took part in the first round where they were required to memorise 70 words. The learners who scored 30\30 moved to the next round. Those learners learned 30 words and those getting 30/30 moved to the final round. The spelling words of the final round was selected by Mrs Julius and were made up of a set of unseen words . Our winners were: Thato Mthethwa who one a gold ward, and Joel Adolf, who came second with a Silver award. Well done to all who participated. GOLF DAY Saturday, 7 October at Glen Vista Golf Club. A four-ball will cost R2000 which includes a ‘half way house”, dinner and green fees. Sponsors are welcome for prizes and holes. PAPER RECYCLING COMPETITON Our paper recycling competition is running until October. There are prizes to be won!! Bring in your paper, magazines, etc. We would like to thank the learners and their parents for their continued support, by participating in this drive and bringing paper to school. EFT PAYMENTS WITHOUT A REFERENCE We have received payments without any reference on the deposit slip. If you have made a payment and it has not reflected on your statement, please contact Judy on (011) 949 4335 or email her at [email protected]. SCHOOL HOLIDAY Parents please note: Thursday, 24 September is a public holiday, and Friday 25 September is a school holiday. MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD Congratulations to Prasheel Hargovan, who participated in the Mathematics Olympiad at District level and took top position. PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES BY DEBIT ORDER Parents who wish to pay school fees by Debit Order may get their Debit Order form from the Bursar’s office or can receive the form via email, by requesting it from [email protected]. There is a saving of R20 per child per month using this method. i.e. R220 if using this method of payment for the full year (11x months). SCHOOL FEES & CARE CENTRE PAYMENTS Parents please note: School fees and Care Centre fees are payable in ADVANCE, at the beginning of each month (unless settled in full) i.e. If you have not made 3 school fee payments, your fees are in arrears. Please make payment immediately. When paying Care Centre fees please state your family code and CC in the reference section.

SCHOOL AND CARE CENTRE FEES Care Centre fees are payable in advance and must be received no later than the 5

th day of each month. Please

note that should your monthly fees not be paid by the 6th

of each month, we will not allow your child/ren to attend the Care Centre, as from the 7

th day of that month.

Part-time or casual attendance (R44.00 per day) Full-time: R37.00 per day. Parents please note: We do not take cash at the school.
