Daily activities encourage you to speak English and put into practice what you have learnt in the classroom whilst discovering the sights of your chosen city - classwork will help prepare you with the right vocabulary. At the weekends you can take a coach tour with your fellow students and travel outside Dublin or London and experience everything these amazing countries have to offer.
Our experienced staff are here to help you achieve your personal goals. The client services team are always available to help you with every aspect of your visit. While our academic team will help you tailor your programme to suit your needs through our skills, topics and task sessions.

The school is in Kensington, a beautiful part of central London, near world-famous attractions. There are 22 classrooms and nearby annexes with 12-18 classrooms. All have interactive whiteboards and wifi. There is a coffee bar and comfortable common areas to socialise and study.

The focus of these programmes is on speaking and listening. By learning and practising language using real life situations, you can achieve greater fluency and accuracy.
Your Everyday Skills Session focuses on language and skills for everyday English giving you phrases for travel, writing emails and much more. For more rapid progress you can choose our Everyday Topics and Task Sessions after lunch. These sessions offer a more intensive programme which stretches your learning and allows you to consolidate what you have learned during the day through relevant everyday topics and task-based activities including news and current affairs and writing and recording a podcast.
If you choose our most intensive course you will have FK Lunch Club twice a week where an English speaker takes you and a small group to lunch allowing you the opportunity to speak English in this relaxed environment.

The American College Dublin run a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses. If a student achieves the required educational standards in their home country Frances King can certify their level of English for entry into the college without the student needing to take an IELTS exam. A level equivalent to IELTS score of 6.0 for undergraduate and 6.5 for postgraduate courses is required.
