France & PolandLyon - Gdańsk

Exchange 2009

From 21 to 28 February we received in Gdansk a group of French students and teachers from the Edouard Branly Lycee in Lyon. Of course, first we had to pick them from the airport.

On the first day we visited the Science and Technology Center EXPERIMENT in Gdynia. We had a lot of fun…

Day 2. First we had a walk on Pachołek, and then an organ concert in Oliwa Cathedral and a walk around the park.

And at the end, a meeting with Paweł Huelle, a Gdansk writer.

Day 3: We had some time to work on our projects. How did it go? You can see in the photos...

We visited the office of newspaper Dziennik Bałtycki - The Times and the exhibition "Roads to Freedom". Unfortunately, an attempt to win tickets for our students ended up with the intervention of the militia ;-)

At the end of the day also visited the Museum of Amber, located in the former Prison Tower . However, there were good moments ...

On the fourth day we visited Szymbark, together we made our own bread, and proved that Polish people can do everything - even make the dark-skinned friend white..;-)

And finally we went sleighing ... Battles of snow on each stop ...

Day 5: Again, an opportunity to work in groups: robots, street lights and culture.

And after workshops, madness on the skating rink...

And it was the last day ... We completed our projects and had a discussion on the „Declaration of Citizen Duties” in the school hall .

There was a lively discussion between students ...

... and teachers.

The day of departure. Almost everybody cried...;-(
