Write a recount about the weekend. This week, please try and add as much information as you can.

Use the following structure:

1. Orientation (Beginning) - When, who and where.

2. Sequence of events (Middle) - Use the following sentence beginnings: First, Then, Next and Finally.

3. Personal comment (End) - I felt….. or I had…. Writing Goals: - Start with a capital letter - End your sentence with

a full stop - Leave finger spaces

between your words - Stretch out words,

writing all the sounds you hear

Mathematics: Oral counting- Count forward to 30 (or 20) and backwards from 20 (or 10).

Using your laminated sheet from your pack, do the number ‘4’on the ‘Number of the Day’ side. Now turn over and do the number ‘14’, on the ‘My Teen Number’ side.

Extension: On the bottom of the ‘My Teen Number’ sheet, do more number sentences equalling 14.

Ask your parent/carer to check both sides, then clean them ready for tomorrow’s numbers.
