FEEDBACK SIGNALS :

• The U, V and W phase feedback signals are

required in Star Coupler drives because theDead Time Compensation is controlled by theControlboard. The feedback signals are fedfrom Power Unit 1 (PU1)

• This method of control is required to havesynchronous Gate Drive to both Power Units

TRIPPING SIGNALS : 

• The TRIP signal (T) is used to detect a faulttripping from either Power Unit
