NATIONAL HUG A G.I. DAY!
Mrs. Kellie Degowske our upper
elementary teacher organized an
opportunity for students to meet
members of the military who served our
country. Army G.I. Norm Stutesman
and Marine Earl Allison joined the
students for morning prayer and
announcements
where they showed the students
how to properly salute the flag as
a civilian or a serviceman. The
“G.I.s” then read a book to the
students and helped the students
post the colors outside. The men
were surprised to receive flag
cards from the students that thanked the “G.I.s” for
their service!
In Christ’s Peace,
Mrs. Sharon Voege Pictures From
the Reconciliation Retreat:
Please keep Anastasia Thelen, Adalyn Logan, Alex Gill, Daniel Brennan, and Arien Cobrun in your prayers as they
prepare for First Communion.
DAUGHTERS OF MARY
The monthly mee;ng
of the Daughters of Mary
will be Tuesday, March 26th at 7:00 in

DIOCESAN MEN'S RETREAT: Retreat in battle, as in life, can mean falling back or moving away. Falling back or moving away doesn't necessarily point towards defeat, but rather offers time to retool, reevaluate, and reengage. A spiritual retreat is one of falling back from our world, from our lives for a short time to re-center and reconnect with God. Mark your calendars for Friday, May 31st - Sunday, June 2nd as this retreat will dive into authentic male spirituality and fellowship. This retreat is open to any man ages 18 and over and the cost to attend is $150, which covers room and board for two nights and four meals. To register, please visit www.imdisciple.com/mensretreat. The retreat will be held at Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center. For questions, please contact Tim McNamara at [email protected]
