If It Is To Be, It’s Up To MeIsaiah 6:8 “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who
will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
The prophet Isaiah lifts up a poignant thought that so many people try to overlook.
When something needs to be done, people tend to look around to see who will do
what needs to be done. Isaiah says that in having the revelation of what needs to
be done, he asks God who shall go without considering the task may be meant for
himself. Then the light bulb went on and he says “Here am I; send me.”
Many of us are in a generation that are the middle aged group that is supposed to
have the knowledge and the ability to do what needs to be done. When we were
younger, we had the energy but not the skill. Our parents and grand parents
were the group who took care of what needed to be done. Now, parents and
grand parents are dying and several new generations are maturing.
As we look around and are enlightened by the spirit of God to see what needs to
be done, our response should be as Isaiah says: “Here am I; Send me”. There is
too much at stake for each us not to do what we can to make this world a better
place as we past the responsibility of stewardship to new generations.
If we see a need for help, let’s help. If we see a need for love, let’s love. If we see
a need for teaching, let’s teach. If we see a need to work, let’s work.
I challenge you to make yourself a committee of one and stop procrastinating and
do what God is laying in your spirit to do. If you need help, God will send you
help. If you need finances, the earth of the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, so go.
If you are worried about failure, no one has ever succeeded by not trying. If you
think you have too many shortcomings to do what God has laid in your heart to do,
the Apostle Paul says in my weakness I am strong. Here are we; Send us Lord!

Independence DayOn July 4, 1776, the architects of this country that we call the United States of
America crafted the words that are essence the United States’ ethic. On that day,
the Declaration of Independence was adopted and says these guiding principles
that are relevant still today:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are
created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator
with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness...

Letter — If you are moving mem-
bership from another church.
Watch Care—Keep your current
membership, but affiliate under
care while you are in fellowship
with Fountain of Hope.
Now it’s up to you. Make the
step. We have members who are
affiliated with this fellowship
throughout the United States. You
may be the next member wherever
you reside.
