    The Founders of the Children’s Rainforest represents to theme of cooperation.

    After learning about the state of the world’s rainforest, the students of Fagervik

    School came together to brainstorm ideas on how to raise money to buy a

    rainforest. They supported each other’s ideas and no idea was bad. Together

    they created a rainforest show and wrote a rainforest book of stories and poems.

    These students worked all year to raise money including writing letters to people

    all over Sweden, making a tape of their songs, having a fair and forming an

    organization, raising $25,000. The students continued to cooperate and work

    together for many years to come and influenced children from around the world.

    You can tell by how they worked together and cooperated on a cause they

    believed in, that their efforts were successful
