Code of Ethics to Check and Control Malpractices and Plagiarism inResearch Activities of the Institution

Being a health science institution, it is the prime responsibility to ensure the practice of honestyand transparency in all research endeavors including projects, assignments, research work ofstudents taken up at UG and PG levels, funded projects of CCRH and Ministry of AYUSHincluding their scholarly communications in various platforms.

To ensure ethics and human research, the institution has constituted an ethical committee as perthe guidelines of ICMR, Biomedical Research. We are also committed to maintain the proper

intellectual property rights (IPR) following the guidelines of ICMR under the heading ofIntellectual Property Rights Manual.

Our aim is to promote the institution into a centre for research in Homoeopathy and integratedresearch activity.Hence the institution has formed research ethics and guidelines as follows:

o Before the initiation of any research work/project, clearance from the institutional ethicalcommittee is must.

Reports of the funded projects are to be made available in the institutional repository.

The students must produce the plagiarism report obtained from the recognized genuine

software on plagiarism check before submission.

Proper citation and acknowledgements must be provided when original content or wordsare copied from the other sources/literatures.

Dissertation works at PG level are monitored by the panel members comprising ofexperts to ensure originality.

Code of ethics should strictly be followed to minimize malpractices from UG to PG level.

Like previous year the composition and functioning of the committee will abide by

the norms of ICMR (BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH)

on 3010612020 at l0:30 am has reviewed the extraordinary proposal on

COVID-I9 entitled "Homoeopathy, as a standalone Treatment inCOVID-l9 patients" - to be treated at Motiwala Homoeopathio

Medical College & Hospital, And F.G. Motiwala P.G. Institute ofHomoeopathy & Research Centre, Nashik, Maharashtra, India, as

being submitted by Dr. F.F. Motiwala, Principal Investigator olCOVID- I 9 Mission, Nashik along with relevant documents.

After examining the proposal and informed consent

(in Marathi/Flindi) meticulously and discussing the matter with all

Co-members the committee has decided to sanction of 'Ethicalt-

Approval' to the said project in an emergency situation.

Howeven, the principal investigator and Co-investigators are

advised to carefully monitor the working ofthe project.

It is mandatory to obtain patients declaration from the patient

counter signed by any of his/her family member before providing

standalone Homoeopathic Treatment Protocol.

In case of any adverse condition arisen, they should communicate
