Snack Break @NCPS
• Students should be allowed to eat regularly so that they may benefit in terms of their cognitive, physical and socio-emotional development.
Benefits for
students
• Students, particularly those taking school bus or public transport, may take time to reach home and their lunch would be delayed. Providing a 2nd break could ensure that students do not go hungry for an extended period of time.
Promote well-
being of students
(1) Snack Break during 12 noon to 12.30 p.m. period.
(2) Discourage sharing of food among students. Some child may be allergy to certain food
Hygiene concern if food is not handled properly
(3) Students to wash their hands before and after consuming thedry finger food
(4) Opportunity for teachers to monitor what students are eatingand encourage healthy eating habits.

Every Parent a Supportive Partner
“Every parent, hopes for his child to grow up to be at his best. We share the same goal. When parents, teachers and the community work together, we multiply our efforts to make every student an engaged learner. We multiply the domains in which our children can find success. We multiply the pathways to success and indeed together we create new pathways to success.”
