What are the Entry Requirements?Students are normally 17 years old, completed their local education (e.g. successful completion of the Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate with an average grade of 10/20 including a grade of 10 or more in Maths) and have a recognised English Language qualification such as IELTS 5.0, TOEFL 5.0 or have completed the NCUK Password test.

The IFY qualification consists of:30% Coursework

How will I be assessed?All assessments are set by a team of NCUK subject experts, comprising of UK university staff and senior teaching staff.

How long does it take to complete?The IFY is usually completed following the Standard Programme (9 months), however there may also be Accelerated Programmes (6 months) and Extended Programmes (12 months) options available, depending on the Study Centre. Please contact your nearest NCUK Study Centre to check which options are available for you and for the latest fees.
