Couples Run/Walk draws hundreds even in the

cold!

Congratulations to Lloyd Ingling and Daniel Richards, “Couple of Navy

Dudes”, for coming in first place! DFMWR thanks all who came out and

THIS WEEKEND…Bridal Fair Calling all future brides! The Fort Belvoir Officers' Club hosts their annual Belvoir Bridal

Fair on Saturday 23 February, from 11 am to 2 pm. There will be over 50 vendors on-site,

Water Outage

On Friday, February 22, Specker Field House water is scheduled to be shut down from 8

a.m. to 3 p.m. On Saturday, February 23, Van Noy Library water is scheduled to be shut

down from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thank you for your patience as we improve our facility to

better serve you, our customers.

Attention Body Shop Customers!

The Body Shop is currently closed for renovations. Graves Fitness Center and Specker Field

House will remain open. Specker FH hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2

p.m. and closed on the weekends. Active Duty in PT uniform will have priority for usage of

all cardio equipment at Graves FC during hours 5a.m. to 8 a.m. and 5p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday

– Friday. Thank you for your patience as we improve our facility to better serve you, our

customers.

Wood Shop Classes

The next Wood Shop Safety classes are Saturday, February 23 from 9 a.m. to noon and

Wednesday, February 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. For more details, please contact the Wood Shop

New Classes at Frame Shop

The Frame Shop is also offering a Basic Framing Class on Saturday, February 23, from 8

a.m. to noon. The cost for this class is $65 and includes all materials. The new 7-session

Basic Stained Glass class starts Thursday, March 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is

Child, Youth and School Services Community Outreach

Staff from Child, Youth & School Services offers enrichment activities at the housing

community centers and the Fort Belvoir Community Center. All activities are free.

Children and youth must be accompanied by an adult. Activities are held 10 a.m. to noon.

Outdoor Recreation is offering a Hunter’s Education VDGIF Courses. The next 2 classes are
