About this Quick Reference Guide:

This Quick Reference Guide lists the tools, menus, dialogs, and palettes of form•Z , form•ZRenderZone, and form•Z RadioZity for Windowscomputers. The structure of this Guide follows thestructure of the program:

You communicate with form•Z through: menu barcommands, tool palettes, window tools, floating pal-ettes, and dialog boxes. Tools and dialogs relating toadvanced rendering and radiosity functions are avail-able only in form•Z RenderZone and form•ZRadioZity , respectively.

There are two work environments: modeling anddrafting. Each has its own tool bar.

Options that affect a tool are displayed in the ToolOptions palette as soon as the tool is selected. Theyare also displayed in dialogs that can be invokeddirectly from the tools by double clicking or Ctrl+Shiftclicking on them. Dialogs are also invoked by menuitems that end with three dots and can be optionallyinvoked from items that end with an asterisk, by Ctrl+Shiftclicking on them. This Quick Reference Guidedisplays the Tool Options palettes for all the tools andthe dialogs for the menu items and the window tools.

All commands and operations of form•Z can beassigned a key shortcut using the Key Short-cuts* item (Edit menu). A set of default keycommand assignments is provided. These arelisted on the last page.
