i. Activity to engage students to the learning. E.g. Student read Objective #1

ii. Activity that students explore the information using information bank

iii. Activity that students can explain the knowledge gained from activity ii.

iv. Activity that students can use the knowledge in different situation

v. Evaluating the learning objective. Measurement must inline with objective statement

3. Activities are to promote the

formation of mental structure using learning environment (the constructivist view of learning)

1. Induction Set1.1. Every lesson should start with an induction set.1.2. The purpose of Induction set is to get students to be physically and mentally

ready to learn the topic and to create a suitable classroom environment for learning activities.

1.2.2 Physical preparationa. to ensure students are comfortably seatedb. to ensure suitable sharing of computersc. to reduce obstacles or disturbances which can affect learning

process

2. Instruction Steps2.1 The number of teaching steps is according to the number of objectives. Therefore, step no. 1 is to achieve the 1st objective, step 2 to attain 2nd objective and so on. This will make planning easier.

2.2 Every step consists of a complete learning cycle

3. Content / Skill3.1 Content / skill refers to the ICT syllabus and Huraian Sukatan Pelajaran prepared by the Curriculum Development Center of the Malaysia Ministry of Education.

3.2 Teacher may break down the content/skill into smaller components to facilitate structured learning suitable for the proposed learning step.

4. Learning Activities4.1 List down the activities in ordered sequence to be done by the students. Use numbers to sequence the learning activities.

4.2 Learning activity statements must reflect students’ efforts to achieve the content/skill listed in the Content/ Skill column.

4.3 Lesson plan should focus on what the students have to do. Thus, learning activities must be student centered.

Student centered: teacher should focus on learning process rather then teaching process assemble learning process according to the learning cycle prepare appropriate learning environment for every phase of

learning state the learning activity precisely

4.4 Evaluation activity must be done to detect every content/skill learned and whether learning objective is achieved

4.5 Provide subsequent activity to overcome the unachieved content/skill.
