    How to write bibliography?

    For Example:

    Books

    1. Gupta, S.L., Financial Derivatives, Ed. 2005, Prentice Hall of India, New

    Magazines:

    Guidelines for Summer Training Project Report

    1. The Topic of Project should be related to the area of Specialization from the broader field

    of management and the topic must be finalized in consultation with project supervisor.

    2. Problem should be defined clearly3. Clearly state a question or hypothesis

    4. Make certain that the question has a risk factor as the outcome variable.

    5. Select an appropriate study design.

    6. Obtain and analyze data related to your question or hypothesis.

    7. Present results that either answer your original question or contribute to what is known inthat area.

    8. Suggest potential ways to improve your examination of the data.

    9.Numbering & bulliting should be used properly.

    10.Binding Specifications: One hard black cover binding and one sprial binding. The cover

    page of hard binding should be printed in golden letters so that the text for printing

    should be identical to what has been presented for the title page

    11.Number of copies submitted for evaluation: Students will submit two hard copies with

    one soft copy to the concered guide

    One hard copy with soft copy to be retained for college library

    One copy to be forwarded to KUK

    To make a paper readable

    Print or type using a 12 point standard font i.e. Times New Roman

    Font size for headings 16 and for sub heading 14

    Line spacing should be 1.5 with 1 inch margins, single sided

    Pages numbers should be there from the introduction page

    Start each new section on a new page

    Adhere to recommended page limits

    Mistakes to avoid

    Placing a heading at the bottom of a page with the following text on the next page (inserta page break!)

    Dividing a table or figure - confine each figure/table to a single page

    Submitting a paper with pages out of order

    In all sections of your paper

    Stay focused on the research topic of the paper Use paragraphs to separate each important point (except for the abstract)

    Indent the first line of each paragraph

    Present your points in logical order Use present tense to report well accepted facts - for example, 'the present CRR is.

    Use past tense to describe specific results - for example, 'When hypothesis was applied,

    the results was'

    Avoid informal wording, don't address the reader directly, and don't use jargon, slang

    terms, or superlatives

    Avoid use of superfluous pictures - include only those figures necessary to presenting

    results

    Purpose of the study - hypothesis, overall question, objective

    Model organism or system and brief description of the experiment Results, including specific data - if the results are quantitative in nature, report

    quantitative data; results of any statistical analysis shoud be reported

    Important conclusions or questions that follow from the experiment(s)

    Style:

    Single paragraph, and concise

    As a summary of work done, it is always written in past tense

    Focus on summarizing results - limit background information to a sentence or two, if

    absolutely necessary

    Corrrect spelling, clarity of sentences and phrases, and proper reporting of quantities(proper units, significant figures) are just as important in an research paper
