2 hours Plus an extra 1 hour to post

The test will consist of 6 out of 10 short questions and 3 out of 4 Long questions.

The chapters are Elasticity, Costs, Government intervention in the market and Market Structure.

All short questions are 10 marks each so 6 questions x 10 = 60 marks. Each long question is 50 marks so 3 long questions x 50 marks each = 150 . Total marks for exam is 210.

Method of Exam

PDF format exam on Google classroom in Assignment/Test.

It will be posted on Google classroom.

Students to write out and draw the answers on A4 and post back. (An hour extra to post or email me).

English (Higher)

Topics:

Robert Frost Poetry Essay Breakdown of topic

Students will answer an exam question on the poetry of Robert Frost.

As per the HL Leaving Certificate exam students will be required to analyse 4-5 poems by Robert Frost.

Quotes will be expected to strengthen and support their answer.

Journal Intime (based on a topic covered i.e. school). Students understand these pieces are very much either positive or negative and to prepare for both

2 hours (excluding listening & oral, both of which will be conducted previously)

Oral exam – Marks are given for pronunciation, grammar, communication and structure – this will be worth 25% and last between 5/6 minutes.

Listening exam – Will be uploaded to Google Classroom as a file to listen to with questions attached and will be worth 20%

Written section i.e. 2 pieces worth 20%

Exam will be uploaded to Google Classroom via Google Docs.

Ideally, students would complete the exam in a Google Document. If this is not possible, exam can be written and returned via photo. Please ensure this is taken clearly.

We trust that students will not make use of such resources as Google Translate during this exam. It is very easy to spot when used if a student is seen to be making use of this tool, they will not receive any marks for that piece.

Geography (Higher)

Two Long answer questions based on Chapters 1-11 (Physical Geography) and chapters 17 & 18 (Regional Geography).

Students will have 70 minutes.

Each question will be worth 80 marks.

Method of exam

The exams will be issued in two google forms, the first will be timed short questions, the second will be timed long questions.

All students must press submit.

Please note due to the use of IT there will be no mapwork questions.

As previously discussed with students, there will be a performance element to the summer assessments.

Google Forms – all answers in the listening section will be submitted on a google form document. This document will be accessible via a link on google classroom on the day/time of the exam.

This document will have a time limit of 2hours, students must complete the exam within this timeframe.

Students will be required to type answers, choose from multiple choice answers, upload a photograph of their manuscript, listen to a sound track and answer questions.

Students will print/write into manuscript answers to the composing section

Students will perform 1 song of choice, record and send to me for the practical section. This

Students are required to have music manuscript paper to complete their melodies. Drawing 5 lines of the stave on a blank piece of paper will suffice.

Students are required to have a mobile device/technology to take a picture of their melodies and backing chords and email to me during the time of the exam - [email protected]

Students are encouraged to complete their exam in a quiet place so they can hear the music clearly.

Method of exam

Section A and B will be sent to each student as a google form and must be submitted within the time frame or the work will be lost.

Student should submit the form even if they have not completed it before the time runs out.

Section C will be provided as a classwork assignment in google classroom and will have a 1hour window for submitting.
