1.2 Clearance of existing land, vegetation and buildings?
Yes It is a fresh ML applied area. Opencast working will result in removal of vegetation that may fall in quarrying zone, safety zone and new infrastructure areas including loss of vegetation. This will be as per approved mining plan. Once mining is over, mined-out area will be rehabilitated as per Mine Closure Plan.

The waste and rejects initially will be utilized for internal road and balance material will be dumped in non-mineralized zone within the mining lease. Reclamation by plantation will be carried out on non active dump. As per the approved mining plan 2.5 Ha of the mining lease area will be required for dumping waste material.
2. Liquid Effluent:
Mine Water Effluent: There is no effluent generation. The proposed mine will not intercept the water table hence only rain water will be accumulated in the pit during monsoon. This may contains silt which will be treated at sedimentation sump in mine floor. The treated water will be used for afforestation / plantation, dust suppression etc.
Domestic Effluent: The temporary office will generate domestic effluent which will be treated in conventional septic tanks before its use in plantation.
