This guide is a manual to the use of Body Express Wraps and how, by using this method
properly, you can obtain amazing fat and cellulite loss in no time. Not only do Body Express
wraps work wonders for slimming, they are also effective as a detox and moisturising and
tightening skin treatment.
Losing weight with Body Express wraps is a specific treatment for re-modelling your body and

Before starting on your body wrap program take a photo of yourself in a swimming costume,
both front and side views. Next make sure you take your measurements precisely.
Your photos should be clear and the parts you want to lose weight on uncovered by your
swim suit. You will need these photos in order to compare with later ones, which you will also
include in the body wrap weight loss programme.
Taking photos is fundamental, as is taking accurate measurements of the body parts you wish
to work on.
Measure your arms, legs and stomach. Take three measurements of your waistline: one
around the belly button, one just 2 inches below and the third, 2 inches above. These photos
and measurements are essential for you to map your progress and motivate you to continue
as you view the weight loss results.

Here are some instructions on how to use your body wraps to get a maximum beneficial
effect and best weight loss results.
Make sure you follow all the steps closely and that you will need to be consistent with using
the body wrap on the same area for a given number of times, at least four.
If you want to treat more than one area then you will need to keep track of each part with
exact measurements and repeated treatments on that specific area.
The Body Express Wraps will work to the most benefit if you
follow below guidelines:
1. Take a hot shower before applying the wrap This is the first step, as it opens the pores and allows for a more efficient process. Avoid using
any soaps or lotions, simply allow comfortably hot water to flow over your body.
2. Apply Wrap on the area you want to work on Apply the wrap with the lotion side over the skin. Keep it in place and wrap over it with the
wrap, then cover the area with a tight item of clothing; i.e.. T-shirt, whole piece swim suit etc.
3. Allow it to have effect Keep the wrap in place for at least 45 minutes, however no more than 8 hours. The average
time is usually around 3 to four hours. You may even sleep with the wrap, making sure you do
not exceed the limit.
4. Make sure you drink while wearing the wrap Keep hydrated during the treatment. Drink one to two litres of water or herbal tea.

5. Remove the wrap When you remove the wrap make sure you do not wipe of the remaining lotion. Rub it into
the skin with a gentle massage until it has been totally absorbed.
6. Allow an interval between Body Express Wraps Avoid applying any other wrap straight after. You should allow for at least 72 hours between
wraps.
This is because the beneficial ingredients within the wraps continue to work for three days
after the treatment.
Moreover, the results get progressively better throughout this period.
Important Points to keep in mind:
Wrap one area at a time only.
Avoid any other wrapping when you are doing so around your stomach.
You may wrap your arms simultaneously by cutting a wrap in half and using the two parts for
your arms.
You can do the same for your legs, depending on the size. You might find it better to use a full
wrap on each leg.
Do not wrap arms and legs simultaneously, or your stomach.

The body wraps are very effective for re-shaping and getting you back into a healthy state.
However, you can boost the effects and get the maximum out of the treatment by following
a few simple strategies.
Drink at least 2 litres of water per day, and continue for a whole week after your body
wrap.
After having removed your wrap drink a glass of warm water with a squeezed lemon or
apple cider vinegar. The combination with hot water with lemon/vinegar will provide
you with a boost in vitamin C as well as antioxidants to help get rid of toxins. In addition,
this drink will stimulate your gastric juices and improve the digestion process-it also acts
as a diuretic and laxative, allowing you to shed more weight.
Take a hot shower before the wrap, and dry brush before stepping into the shower.
Avoid use of soap and lotions.
Do not shower immediately after. This will remove the elements that are working on
your body.
Drink water to rehydrate while you have the wrap on.
Keep in mind that you should drink at least double what
you would usually drink in a day, or half your bodyweight
in ounces-i.e.: if you weigh 200 pounds that would be
100 ounces per day and for the next three days.
Avoid foods with high fat content, tea, coffee, sodas,
alcohol and sugar in general. Do not smoke during the
process, smoking is bad for the circulation and will affect
the treatment negatively.
Do not exercise while you are wearing a wrap or the same
day. You can start again the next day.
Keep in mind that if you are on medication or you have a period,
the wrap will not work due to the natural water etention in your body.

Dry Brushing
Brushing your skin when dry is an excellent way to promote blood circulation and get rid of
dead skin cells that clog up the pores.
This is a good way to help to eliminate cellulite, as stimulating circulation in the body will help
rid of toxins and fat deposits that may build up over time.
The light pressure against your skin and the direction in which you brush helps move lymph
fluid into the lymph nodes so this waste can then be eliminated.
Dry brushing speeds up the process and at the same time boosts circulation, delivering
oxygenated blood to the skin and other organs, improving the suppleness of your skin to
avoid stretch marks when losing weight and sagging skin.
Skin brushing the skin with a fine bristle brush gently over
all of your skin surfaces is an excellent way to stimulate
circulation.
Chose a fine bristle brush that is gentle not harsh and
begin at the feet with the slow and subtle brushing
motions.
Work your way slowly up from the feet to the legs and up
the entire body.
Take the time to really focus on areas that feel tight or
that may be prone to circulation problems such as the
ankles, knees, and even arms.
Repeat the motion a couple of times each week before
showering to get the maximum benefits.

Raw Foods - The Secret to Effective Weight Loss
Fibre is extremely important for weight loss, hence
you should aim at consuming raw foods as much as
you can. These should preferably be organically
grown and with a low glycemic value-which will
keep you satiated for longer.
Also include low sugar food types, vegetables and
fruit, especially citrus, blueberries,
strawberries,apple, kiwi. Broccoli, Brussels sprouts,
cauliflower, white and red cabbage, watercress.
Protein is also essential for muscle tone, but stick to
the lean meat if you can’t avoid meat, such as free range chicken. You can find protein in cold water fish, eggs and legumes, including lentils
and beans.
Carbohydrates are also important in weight loss plans, as you need energy to exercise. Go
for sweet potatoes, rice and carbohydrates with a low GI.
Remember not to forget healthy fats such as walnuts, almonds or pecans.

Foods you should avoid:
Unhealthy fats, sugary drinks, processed foods and any foods with added sugar.
Sugars: Sugars are often hidden where we least expect them to be, notably in a variety of
drinks. The obvious ones are soft drinks, however, juices also play a major role. Alcohol,
sugared coffee and black tea. Cut down on as much sugar as you can.
Foods with added salt should also be avoided as they tend to absorb fluids, hence water
retention. Many prepared or packed food types have added salt, so make sure you check
the salt content before buying them, or better still,when in doubt stay clear from these.
Dairy foods are often full of added sugar or salt so stick to organic Greek yoghurt, or kefir and
these should be eaten with moderation.

Blueberry & Banana Smoothie Recipe Serves 2 (143 calories)
Ingredients:
150 g Blueberries 1 small banana 220 ml of pineapple juice
How to Prepare: Peel the banana and wash the blueberries.
Put all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Quinoa Cereal with Fresh Fruit
Ingredients:
1/2 cup quinoa 1 cup water sea salt to taste
Topping 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup blueberries 2 TBS pumpkin seeds 2 TBS sliced almonds Top with 1/2 cup dairy-free milk alternative (e.g. rice, oats, or almonds) and 1 tsp honey (use any of your favorite fruits in season)
How to Prepare: Placed well-rinsed quinoa with water and salt in a saucepan, cover and bring to a boil.
Turn the heat to low, keep covered, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Quinoa Breakfast
Divide quinoa between two bowls, adding one-half of the rolled oats on top.
Top each bowl with half of the blueberries, pumpkin seeds and almonds.
Serve with nut milk and honey.

Option 1
Mushroom and Avocado Salad
Ingredients: Serves Four
2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed 1 large ripe avocado,peeled, chopped into chunks 3 large oranges,peeled and chopped 1 iceberg lettuce, washed and finely chopped 180g fresh button mushrooms, thinly sliced and marinated Marinade: 5tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice 1tbsp finely grated lemon zest 1 pinch sea salt Freshly ground black pepper
How to Prepare: To marinate mushrooms: mix together the orange juice, lemon zest, salt and pepper in a
bowl, add the mushrooms and leave to stand for at least 1 hour.Place the lemon juice,
avocado, and oranges into a bowl, then toss together with lettuce and marinated
mushrooms.

Option 2
Salmon with Mustard, Dill Sauce
Ingredients:
1-1/2 lbs salmon filet cut into 4 pieces, skin and bones removed 1 TBS fresh lemon juice
Dill Sauce 2 medium garlic cloves, pressed 1 TBS Dijon mustard 2 TBS fresh lemon juice 1/4 cup chicken broth 1 tsp honey 1 tsp chopped fresh dill salt and white pepper to taste
How to Prepare: Preheat broiler on high and place an all stainless steel skillet (be sure the handle is also stainless steel) or cast iron pan under the heat for about 10 minutes to get it very hot. The pan should be 5 to 7 inches from the heat source. Press garlic and let it sit for at least 5 minutes to bring out its health-promoting properties. Rub salmon with 1 TBS fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. (You can Quick Broil with the skin on; it just takes a minute or two longer. The skin will peel right off after cooking.) Using a hot pad, pull pan away from heat and place salmon on hot pan. Return to broiler. Keep in mind that it is cooking rapidly on both sides so it will be done very quickly (7 minutes per inch of thickness). Test with a fork for doneness. It will flake easily when it is cooked. Salmon is best when it is still pink inside. To make the sauce, add garlic to a stainless steel skillet and stir for half a minute. Add mustard, lemon juice, broth, honey, salt and pepper. Cook on high heat for a minute to reduce slightly and then add dill. Pour over salmon and serve. Serves 4 Calories: 302 Suggested Vegetables: Steamed Broccoli

Dinner:
Option 1
Spicy Cabbage Soup
Ingredients:
1 medium onion, quartered and sliced thin 3 medium cloves garlic, chopped 1-2 tsp minced fresh chili pepper (serrano, or jalapeno) 2 tsp ground coriander 1 TBS dry mustard 5 cups + 1 TBS chicken or vegetable broth 2 TBS fresh lemon juice 2 medium-sized red potatoes cut in 1/2-inch cubes (about two cups) 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes 3 cups thinly sliced Savoy or green cabbage salt and black pepper to taste
How to Prepare: Heat 1 TBS broth in a medium soup pot. Healthy Sauté sliced onion over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and minced chili pepper. Continue to saute for another minute. Stir in dried coriander and mustard. Add broth and the rest of ingredients except the cabbage, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes, uncovered, or until potatoes are tender. Add cabbage, and cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Option 2
Chicken Breasts with Fresh Herbs
Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breasts with skin on 2 medium cloves garlic, pressed 1 TBS fresh squeezed lemon juice 2 tsp chopped fresh sage 2 tsp chopped fresh thyme 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary 1/4 cup chicken broth salt and cracked black pepper
How to Prepare: Preheat broiler on high. Place ovenproof metal pan under broiler to get hot. Do not use glass or Pyrex for this. Season chicken with a little salt and pepper. When pan is very hot (which takes about 5 minutes), put chicken in pan and return it to broiler. Turn heat to low. Don't put it too close to the heating element. It is best to put in middle of the oven, about 7 inches from the heat source. (Quick Broil) for about 15 minutes, or until done, depending on thickness of chicken. While chicken is cooking chop herbs. In a small skillet, add chopped herbs, lemon juice, broth, pressed garlic, salt, and pepper. Heat on medium heat for about 30 seconds. When chicken is done remove skin, slice, and place on platter. Drizzle herb sauce over chicken. Serving Suggestions: Serve with Steamed Vegetables such as butternut

The key to staying motivated as experts have proved is to take
things gradually. When you have decided to change your
lifestyle for a healthier one, the best strategy is to take small
steps at a time, in order to stay on the right track.
Do not waste time and energy telling yourself that you must
keep highly motivated at all times-after all, we can’t be
always in full gear and motivation itself has a natural
rhythm. If you feel at some point that your motivation is
declining, don’t panic because this is part of a natural
cycle. It is important to recognise this and not feel that
you are failing. Simply make sure you do not demand
too much of yourself. Take changes gradually.
If you feel you are losing interest eating more healthily
and exercising, you probably started off too eagerly
and are now tired out. Chances are that you will
actually feel more energised with the healthier regime.
Do not overdo the exercising and make sure you eat
properly and do not cut down on important nutrients.
Studies show that the health and weight loss plans are
more likely to be successful if you make changes gradually
and these must be coherent with what you personally can
carry out. Take small, positive steps and move on consistently.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind. It will help you keep your
motivation up during your transition to a healthier lifestyle.
Focus on the fact that with your new lifestyle changes you are aiming at
being healthy not only externally but internally. You are doing this to keep healthy and feel
better, not just to look better.
Feel good about yourself and make sure that people around you make you feel good too.
Should your friends encourage you to smoke or lead an unhealthy diet, try and find others
who lead a healthier life. It is much easier to follow a plan when all those around you are
doing the same.

Try and assess where your problem areas are, this will help you work on these weaknesses. Ask
yourself why you overeat. It may be due to depression or disappointment or even boredom or
personal success. Once you have determined your weak spots find healthier ways to
counteract these. You can avoid having unhealthy food in the house so you aren’t tempted.
The others in your household will benefit from the change too.
It might also be helpful to account to someone else when dieting, a person who can cheer
you on our give you support. Think of who can help you and go to them when you are feeling
unmotivated.
If you slip, don’t be too hard on yourself. If you have slipped on holiday or one evening, that
will not demean your whole dieting plan.
Do not under eat-research has proven that under-eating leads to overeating. If you starve
yourself relentlessly you will easily fall out and overeat as a reaction. Rigid diets just don’t work
and they also lead to lack of important nutrients to keep you healthy and energised.
Take time to celebrate each day’s success. Note down what you have achieved and what
was hard for you. We rarely stop to assess every day in a positive way. We usually focus on
things that went wrong. Try and change your view on daily events, by doing so you will be a
more positive person and will focus on what you ‘have done’ and not what you ‘haven’t
been able to do’.
