4. The work load at MBA/MPM should not exceed 12 credit hours (or equivalent) in a semester (16-18 weeks).

the ACCA UK-Pakistan Chapter with effect from October 13, 2004, with following conditionalities:
1. Candidates desirous of B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University will be required to possess intermediate/A-level for registration with ACCA and Oxford Brookes University.
2. The examinations to be conducted by the ACCA Pakistan on behalf of ACCA, UK and Quality Assurance Agency will be monitored by the British Council.
3. For operation in the jurisdiction of provinces, the permission from concerned Provincial Education Department/s is pre-requisite.
4. Equivalence/recognition to the degrees will be issued on individual merit on submission of relevant details on prescribed proforma (E-01) available at (des.hec.gov.pk) and copies of documents like i) matriculation/’O’ level and intermediate/’A’ level certificates; ii). Registration letter for B.Sc (Hons) with OBU, UK; iii). UCRS Institute joining certificate; iv). UCRS institute leaving certificate; and v). student enrollment/record verification letters etc.
The HEC has approved to issue equivalence certificate to the ACCA qualified members as equivalent to M.Com degree involving sixteen (16) year of education w.e.f August 2008, on following terms and conditions.
i. HEC will only recognize the membership of
ACCA UK (Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK (after
completion of professional qualification
and other requisites including training and
required professional experience) for
equivalency.
ii. There will be no exemption awarded to the
incomplete or part qualification of ACCA.
iii. Initial admission in ACCA programme

The NCUK is allowed to conduct two years “Transfer Degree Programme” in collaboration with the Ripah International University, Islamabad w.e.f. 28-05-2011 on following terms and conditions:
1. The entrance requirement should be twelve years schooling i.e. HSSC/intermediate/’A’ levels or equivalent (equivalence of twelve years to be determined by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Government of Pakistan).
2. The two year ‘transfer degree program’ completed at Riphah International University (RIU) entail the holders advance standing for admission in year three (3) of undergraduate degree program in the eleven (11) owner-universities of the NCUK.
3. This two years program, even after successful completion as a “Stand alone certificate/diploma” shall not be

equivalent to two-year bachelor degree program (pass) offered by Pakistani universities.
4. The partner Pakistani university namely the Riphah International University, Islamabad will accept the successful students of the NCUK for two year transfer degree program in the 3rd year of its own four-year degree program in the respective discipline if the student for genuine reasons cannot pursue subsequent studies in the UK. Details negotiated in this respect with partner shall be shared with HEC.
5. HEC will recognize undergraduate degrees obtained from any of NCUK eleven partner universities under degree transfer program in Pakistan followed by qualifying 2 years study in any of the eleven partner universities in UK as equivalent to 4 years bachelor degree.
6. HEC has the right to ask for any further information and to visit the local campus(s) of partner universities of NCUK at any time with prior information.
7. The entire program will be jointly reviewed by the NCUK, local partner university and the HEC every four years.
8. All the above mentioned conditions would also be applicable to any new partner university/institution has to be among the HEC recognized university/DAI.

The Association of Business Executives (ABE), UK has been allowed to offer Graduate Diploma (Level 6) in Pakistan and will be equated with the Bachelor degree of 4 years of Pakistan with the following conditions w.e.f 26.03.2013:
1. The Graduate Diploma (Level 6) should be offered through chartered universities/degree awarding institutions in public and private sector along with the Institutions registered with the respective Provincial Education Departments.
2. The entrance requirement in Graduate Diploma (level 6) should be twelve years i.e. HSSC/Intermediate/’A’ levels or equivalent (equivalence of twelve years to be determines by IBCC).
3. The final examinations should be held under supervision of British Council in Pakistan i.e. examination papers and answer sheets be channelized through the British Council for ensuring security and confidentiality.
4. The program in engineering and technology disciplines should be offered after concurrence of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
5. The duration of the diploma at level 6 must be of 4 years (minimum) after 12 years of schooling.
6. For maintenance of academic standards the courses of studies to be offered, the course material etc. will be kept the same as are offered to the students admitted in the UK. The students admitted in Pakistan shall be eligible for the same rights and privileges as admissible to students admitted in the UK.

Pakistan);
3. The duration of HND at level 8 must be of two
(2) year (minimum) after 12 years of schooling;
4. The examinations are to be conducted through
Chartered Universities/DAIs of Pakistan;
5. The programmes in Engineering and
Technology disciplines should be offered after
concurrence of Pakistan Engineering Council
(PEC);
6. For maintenance of academic standards the
courses of studies to be offered, the course

The BETS Lahore has been allowed to offer two (2) years EdExcel HND program in the field of Business and Fashion & Textiles, Computing & System Development in Pakistan w.e.f. 05-01-2015 with the following terms and conditions:
1. The entrance requirement in HND Diploma (Level 5) should be twelve (12) years schooling i.e. HSSC / intermediate / ’A’ levels or equivalent (equivalence of twelve

1. The entrance requirement in HND Diploma (Level 5) should be twelve years schooling i.e. HSSC / intermediate / ’A’ levels or equivalent (equivalence of twelve years to be determined by Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC);

1. The duration of this degree program will be minimum of 1.5 years after the 16 years of schooling of Pakistani Educational System;
2. The entrance requirements, conduction of classes and completion of this degree program should be in accordance to the University of Louisville, USA Degree requirement;
3. For maintenance of academic standards, the courses of studies to be offered and the course material etc. will be kept the same as are offered to the students admitted in the USA. The students admitted in Pakistan shall be eligible for the same rights and privileges as admissible to students admitted in the USA;
4. The MPH program will be periodically monitored by HEC and no further degree program in any specific discipline should be offered under this mode of collaboration without taking prior approval of HEC;

(Hons.) in Computing and Information System through collaborative arrangement with London Metropolitan University, UK upto December, 2007. The College of Digital Sciences has phased out its collaborative arrangement, however, currently enrolled students were allowed to complete their degree programmes, for which the College of Digital Science was allowed to continue its operation upto December, 2008.

Institute of Business and Finance, Lahore has been allowed to offer two (2) years EdExcel-HND program in Business Management, Business (Marketing), Business (HRM), Business (Law) w.e.f. April 25, 2016, which will be equated to fourteen (14) years of Education in relevant fields, with the following terms and conditions:
1. The entrance requirement in HND Diploma (Level 5) should be twelve years schooling i.e. HSSC / intermediate / ’A’ levels or equivalent (equivalence of twelve years to be determined by Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC);

2. The final examinations should be held under supervision of British Council in Pakistan i.e. examination papers and Answer Sheets be channelized through the British Council for ensuring security and confidentially;
3. The duration of the diploma at level 5 must be of 2 year (minimum) after ascertaining completion of 12 years of schooling;
4. For maintenance of academic standards the courses of studies to be offered, the course material etc. will be kept the same as are offered to the students admitted in UK. The students admitted in Pakistan shall be eligible for the same rights and privileges as admissible to students admitted in the UK.
