Sump and Pump ConnectionPLX threaded adaptors and compact flanges providea safe and secure connection to pumps, dispensersand tank top fittings.

Designed for pressure and suction applications PLXspigot and EF threaded adaptors make perfect underpump connections while the compact demountableflange sets are best used in the confined spaces andrestricted access of tank chambers.

PLX fully fused secondary contained fittings andextended transitions can help to reduce costs andeliminate the need for under-pump sumps.

VentsPLX pipe and fittings safely transfer thevapour, from the pumps to the UndergroundStorage Tanks (UST'S), with no permeationinto the atmosphere. Used for both stage oneand stage two vapour recovery PLX is yoursafe, environmentally friendly choice forinstallation. Fully operational vents andvapour recovery systems ensure the UST’sand associated pipework is pressure balancedand that air and fuel vapour are safelyconveyed or recovered. The larger bore ofPLX fill and vent systems will assist air/vapourflow and the condensed vapour return to it’srespective UST.

Offset Fill AreaIn order to dramatically reduce tank filling time and tosave costs and downtime for the forecourt, the largerbore of polyamide lined PLX fill and vent pipeimproves flow and reduces UST fill time. With minimalavailable gravity head, frictional losses must beconsidered. Even though operating under gravityhead, fill pipe should be considered as a pressuresystem and installed using PLX SecondaryContainment systems.

PLX Electrofusion and spigot fittingsThe PLX system contains a wide range of singlewall and secondary containment fittings-couplers, elbows, tee’s and closures. Allsecondary containment fittings enable interstitialmonitoring and leak detection of the completesystem. All PLX electrofusion fittings aremanufactured with the highest manufacturingprecision with precisely positioned electricalheated coils ensuring optimum melt pressureduring installation.

PLX Transition FittingsPLX Transition fittings ensure the safe andcontinuous flow of fuel when connecting to andfrom pumps, tanks and other metal threaded andflanged connections. Arel tested, each transitionfitting has been innovatively designed andmanufactured using the highest quality PE and awide range of metals. With the process ofinstallation in mind; each fitting is developed tosave time and costs during the installationprocess.

Size range 32mm – 160mm

PLX PipeSingle Wall:- Used for below ground suctionsystems and available in straight lengths or coils.

PLX Close-Fit:- Used for below ground sections ofthe system and available in straight lengths or coils.

PLX Pipe-in-Pipe:- Used for above ground fueltransfer applications.

Both pipes are co-extruded with a polyamide linerusing the latest extrusion technology , resulting inconsistent and technically superior performance.
