City of Lufkin Business Park is lo-

cated at 2800 Atkinson Drive,

Lufkin Texas. The Business Park is

a project of Lufkin Economic De-

velopment Corporation. The Busi-

ness Park is located on land pur-

chased with local sales tax allocated

to Economic Development and the

improvements are being funded by a

$4 million dollar grant from U. S.

Department of Commerce Economic

Development Administration.

The first phase of construction began in 2009 and work is continuing

today. When complete the 157 acre Park will include development

ready grades, common drainage and detention for all tenants, oversized

infrastructure to include water, wastewater, electricity, both high and

medium pressure gas, and both high capacity copper and OC level fiber

telephony. The Lufkin Business Park was designed as well with access

to the A&NRR. Additionally, as part of the pre-development project on

the Lufkin Business Park, Moffett Road which gives access to Kit

McConnico Park is undergoing a complete re-build. The road will go

from approximately a fourteen foot dilapidated road to a thirty foot

curbed and guttered asphalt road built to heavy truck standards. The

Lufkin Business Park is already home to a high tech foundry supplying

specialty alloy castings to the aerospace, defense and nuclear energy in-

dustries and has already created approximately thirty high paying jobs

for the Lufkin economy.
