Named after the small town where the band started, the chart-topping quartet pays tribute to their Carolina upbringings with their name and their sound. Raised on a diet of Southern rock, Country, and Blues, they formed in 2001 as a bunch of small-town boys, but their talents eventually took them onto Country music’s biggest stages, not to mention the top of Billboard’s Country chart.

Busting onto the scene in 1992, Cyrus’ first album debuted on the Billboard album charts at number one, and would stay there for 17 weeks. He’s seen success ever since. Even just this year he returned with the concept album The Snake Doctor Circus, as well as sang on a remix of rapper Lil Nas X ’s viral hit “Old Town Road.”
