Anyone here knows about a small country in Southeast Asia named Thailand? I came fromthere, the mainland of the Suvarnabhumi. In my language, it means The Golden Region.Thailand is in the South Pacific Ocean. We are constitutional monarchy by The Chakri Dynasty. Here is the tropical climate and has a rainy, cloudy, and very hot weather. However, thegreatness of my hometown is the individual of architectural styles like the Buddhist temple, the

Buddhist sanctuary, and the wall painting of Buddhist arts.

My whole life is in Thai, absolutely my mother tongue language is Thai. Its very differentfrom Europe tongue, but it seems like Sanskrit language. Many our cultures have a combinationof India and some countries in Asia. We are not shaking hands. The greeting of us is Wai bypressing our palms together like in a prayer and bowing your back a little. In my country peopledo not talk in another language (excepting some regional speech in the countryside). I studiedEnglish in a secondary school, but no one uses it in a daily life. For the students, it is rarely usedwithout studying.

Ok, lets take a break from any history of my country. I will tell you some of my life. It surelydiffers from many people. The first is I am a student in the Department of Music. I think it makesme different because in the opinion of a conservative adult, the arts are not important enough foreducating in an undergraduate. I loved music, so it was my hard time to choose between myparents pleasure and my dream. I know everyone must be in a situation like that, now I choosemy dream to go on. Dont stop to walk if you still can do it, I always believe this moral.

The second is I grew up and studied in the Christian Catholic School. Seems like to be anormal, right? But dont forget the truth about getting to know, my country religion is Buddhism. Inmy school, we studied English with the instructors from the Philippines. Their accent is veryindividual, their phones too. If you pronounce T alphabet with thee, they will accent tee,

sounded like an Indian. Both of them are so cool, in my opinion.

My improving depends on my studied English experience at this school. When I was ingrade 11th, I met a stress woman instructor in the critical reading class. I will call her name justMs. Ro absolutely its not her real name. Ms. Ro is different from the others, I mean, theinstructor from the Philippines like her. In her class everybody is always quiet, just listens, andanswers her question. If someone talks too much and she cant bear it anymore, she will shoutaloud that Minus three! We are so frightening her much, more than any instructors.

Her critical reading class is unimpressed time for us. It has many things to do, reading, writing, discussing, many students dont like her because this class is so hard, but not me. I was

some of students who like Ms. Ro, she is the one who really cares about us. In my country a lot ofstudents very weak in English, I think the main reason is we just speak in our native languageand many of them dont have any understandings about it enough. Some of my foreignerinstructors would let us talk and play if we dont need to study. That class is ended, and we stilldont know anything in English. So I impressed Ms. Ro so much. She is a very patient teacher, sostress, but kind, we really know.

I had studied with her for two years, in grade 11th and 12th. Her subject is an effective classfor many of the students. We had learnt the critical reading from her. It wasnt an easy class, butat last we still could survive. I dont know why, she has something respectable. When we

educated from the school, everybody, truly, said I love her.

In this case, it looks like the greatest end of a story telling, but one day some of a terrible truthcame to us. In the last semester of a secondary student life, Ms. Ro has taken sick leave andnobody knows whats going on. She had left for a month and came back, we thought she just

back to her hometown for a while, but after all we heard a rumor from another, Ms. Ro was sick. What? I felt something bad happen, and it was true, she had a cancer.

The last semester passed by studying with another. It was not familiar to us. A new instructorwas easygoing, and didnt teach in critical reading class. We could study and get a good grade, but it was different, it wasnt Ms. Ro. Why we missed her so much?

I was graduated from the school before I knew much more about Ms.Ros il lness. I knew she

had admitted to the hospital in the Philippines for a while, for healing her illness. I still have somehope that I want to see her again when I came back to my school. I dont know now she is alright, isnt she? But if you ask about my best teacher, it really will be her.
